QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

"Cinematography is a lens into a whole new dimension"- LS

Why did you join this class? When I was in 5th grade, I went to the cinematography camp for the first time. Since then, I have been a camper for four years and a counselor for three years. I have experience but not the amount of experience I would have if I was in an actual cinematography class. I am always wanting to learn more to improve myself, so I can make better films

What do you want to get out of this class?  My answer kind of is the same as the first question. I want to learn more, so I can enhance my skills of cinematography further.

What do you know about cinematography? I know that it is harder than people think. There are so many components to a good few seconds of film. I know a lot about the camera and in the past few months, I have been trying new things with light and sound.

What do you want to know about cinematography? I want to become an expert in light and sound because, without those two components, you won’t have a film that people will want to watch.

What type of films would you like to make?

Action, news, documentary… Basicly anything.

What are your three favorite movies?

Star Wars, Lord of the rings, The last Samurai. I watch 2-3 movies a week, so  I don’t think I have a favorite except these three, because I have watched them the most. I really like the Marvel movies and how it all comes together.

What is your favorite movie genre?

Action

What motivates you to work hard?

Knowing that there can be an amazing end product to what I work hard at.

What are five things that you want to do now in your life?

Make films, live well, get involved, learn well, and make more films

What was your favorite subject in school? Why?

My favorite subject is history. I believe that to know the future, you must look back at the past.

What are the five words that best describe you?

Nice, Empathetic, outgoing, hardworking, and logical.

Biggest Character turn-off for you? (ex. I hate when people are late)

When they are only thinking about themselves. I am the exact opposite(most of the time) and only think about others. I find that you have a better relationship with people when you are selfless.
